Sorry sorry! I wasn't even home like all day yesterday. I got a new job and then the Cavs home opener was yesterday so I had to be at the bar... and WE WON AGAINST THE CELTICS, BOOYAH.
*ahem*
My apologies.
Is it wrestling? It's probably here. TNA, WWE, ROH, indie, breaking news, reports and recaps.

Spotlight: Masato Yoshino
This week's spotlight is a new favorite of mine, Masato Yoshino, of Dragon Gate/DGUSA. I recently started watching Dragon Gate after some urging from a Twitter friend and I. AM. HOOKED. If you've never seen Dragon Gate... you need to start watching ASAP.
There's a lot of amazingly talented guys on the DG roster, all of whom I would really like to Spotlight, but I had to start out with Yoshino. He is simply fantastic.

Why I Love Wrestling: Moveset
Sometimes, it's not easy being a wrestling fan. A lot of people... don't quite seem to get why I love this stuff so much. They tell me "But wrestling is fake!" No, wrestling is scripted. There's a difference. Someone does a moonsault, it's not camera tricks, CGI and wires. Just because the end of a match may be predetermined doesn't make what happens during the match *fake*.
In fact, the moves are one of my favorite things about wrestling. I love when somebody pulls out a move you've never seen before, and your heart stops, and you go "What the hell did I just see?!"
So, here's a few (though by no means all) of my favorite moves and finishers. What are your favorites?

TNA is okay, but ReAction insults our intelligence
Half recap of TNA, half ongoing thoughts-on. Still too many promos but at least there was some wrestling this week.

Spotlight: Eric Young
A lot of people probably dismiss Eric Young as the comic relief. TNA doesn't quite seem to know what to do with him. Heel, face, tag team, X-Division, Super Eric, silly and stupid. Man's been -- and done -- it all.
But you know what? Behind all the silly (and occasionally really stupid) gimmicks, he's a pretty damn good wrestler.

...Wow.
Okay, this post is going to be a little different (I know, I keep changing it up on y'all. Just trying to find my niche.)
First of all, let me tell you a little bit about my wrestling background. I've only been watching wrestling for about two years now. I started with WWE, got sucked into TNA about a year and a half ago and ROH as of only the past couple of months.
So I'm pretty new around here. There's a lot of stuff I don't know, am not familiar with. I don't know how things in wrestling might be different now than how they were, if it was more than two years ago. But I am passionate about wrestling. I want you guys to know that. I love it. I love the matches that make your jaw drop, that make you hold your breath, that make you flail around and jump to your feet screaming. And I love the promos that make you laugh until you cry, the silly ones that make no sense, singing and dancing and throwing toilet paper at the heels. I love these guys. I love their stories and their passion and their talents and their struggle. A lot of people don't understand why anyone watches wrestling, much less a girl. This is why. All these things and so many other things I don't know how to say.
TNA used to have these things.

Bound for Glory PPV
Or maybe more like Bound for Bankruptcy.
More of a recap blog than a play-by-play, I watched this shitstorm over at my friend's house.

Spotlight: AJ Styles
New blog topic. I've been meaning to do this for the past two Saturdays but have been too busy or too lazy to put it together.
So anyway, every Saturday (or so I intend) I will spotlight a wrestler and highlight some matches I think are worth your time to watch.
This week I picked someone easy, because we all should be watching him anyway. And he's not the #1 ranked wrestler in the PWI 500 for nothing.
