Rumor Mill 6/1-6/8

Photobucket

Oh my, yes, it's the weekly news grinder, the Rumor Mill!

*if the Rumor Mill had a theme song, it would be playing right now. I imagine something in the style of either 80s game show or midi video game*

Let's get started!

First and foremost, there's some breaking news. A video has surfaced of Samoe Joe beating the shit out of Crimson in some hole in the wall bar somewhere. Crimson, who linked the video, claims this is not "storyline" and was, in fact, real. First of all, really? Do you really expect us to believe that? Joe and Crimson have a match this Sunday, and this video just maaaaaaagically surfaces in time to drum up some heat/interest/whatever? Totally a coincidence. Sure. On the other hand, it's nice to see Joe beating the shit out of somebody. I guess you take what you can get, right?

I'm assuming you all know Kharma/Awesome Kong is pregnant. The supposed baby-daddy has now stepped forth, former WWE developmental talent Byron Wilcott. I don't know if it's trufax or what, but whatever. I hope Kong/Kharma is able to come back to WWE after she has her baby. WWE needs more badass chicks. Beth Phoenix can't do it all on her own. Ooops, Kharma has come forth saying this is a bald-face lie and Mr. Wilcot is in fact not her baby daddy.

Randy Savage's death has been determined to have been a result from a heart disorder called ventricular fibrillation or VF. It's an abnormal heart rhythm which can lead to fainting or heart attacks. It's apparently a quick and painless way to go. RIP Macho Man. Thanks for saving us from the Rapture.

Tommy Dreamer announced via twitter that after the 11th of this month, he will be done with TNA. I also heard that TNA is going to be doing some talent cuts, which I still think they would benefit from... as long as they don't get rid of any of my favorites.

Prince Nana (that's his name) discusses Sinclair Broadcasting's acquisition of ROH since former owner and president Cary Silkin has... left? This is news to me, though probably not so much for the rest of you. I think it could mean good things for ROH. I hope it does. There is some excellent talent in that roster. No, I am not referring solely to Eddie Edwards. Damn it, now I have the Prince Nana song stuck in my head.

Chyna... oh Chyna. She has decided to become a porn star. Oh, honey. Informal poll question: Would you (or have you already!) watch porn with Chyna in it? And I don't mean just for the lolz.

Rumor has it that CM Punk's contract is up in September and it is believed he will be taking some time off.

And, of course, in What's Jeff Hardy Up To Now? news, his court case has been continued -- FOR THE 9000TH TIME -- to June 27th, where they are expecting some kind of resolution, amen and thank you Jesus.

Here's an interview with Low Ki in which he talks about, among other things, the real reason he was released from WWE. (Wait, Low Ki was released? JFC I'm behind.)

Batista is supposedly opening an MMA training facility in Tampa, FLA. Alrighty then. Is he even... I don't... okay, whatever.

Hulk Hogan is supposedly threatening a lawsuit against the Ultimate Warrior for talking shit about Hogan and former Hogan wife Linda. Storylines... in real life!

I think that's all the news that is news. I hope I didn't miss anything or cover any old news. I'm a little out of practice, as it were. Hope you enjoyed

  1. I was really happy to hear that ROH has been sold and may get more exposure across the US and internationally.
As for Chyna's magical porn adventure. I have seen the first one, more as an LoL experience, but would never purchase or watch a porn with her in it for real. I kinda wish she had stayed with TNA, she was looking good and her match was not that bad at Sacrifice.
And are you looking forward to seeing Davey Richards (one of my favourite wrestlers) vs Eddie Edwards for the ROH Title?

  2. I don't think there are words for how I feel about the upcoming Eddie vs Davey match. Because I love Eddie, I think he's wonderful and spectacular and I was really excited to hear that he'd won the title in the first place. But on the other hand, I love Davey, and if any one singular man deserves to be the champion, he is that man. I just don't know. It's going to be a very conflicting match to watch because I just want both of them to win. I can't wait.
